SCHOOL VISITS
I have been leading creative/art sessions in schools, environmental centres, various scout groups, and nursery settings for many years. I specialise in environmental and nature based art, but can tailor projects to suit your current topics or national curriculum requirements. I have experience of working with many age ranges, from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and abilities.
I have also worked as a teacher in primary and middle schools for a number of years in Dorset and Hampshire. I enjoy connecting my experience and passion as an artist with students learning. I like to promote environmental awareness and love of nature through stimulating and creative activities |

Art projects have included many different skills and themes. I have devised sessions using natural and recycled materials. Projects have covered land /environmental art, willow sculpture, paper making, weaving, clay work, murals, painting, drawing, illustration technique, collage, textiles, sculpture, work inspired by Jo's art and also famous artists and movements, (such as cubism and abstract impressionism).
I love colour and like to incorporate colour mixing, and awareness of colour, teaching children how to use it effectively within their art!
I am at present an artist-in-residence at Little |

The creative process involves; responding to experiences, expressing and communicating ideas, exploring media and materials and developing imagination and imaginative play.
